Pallet Flow Racking

Pallet flow racking system with gravity roller lanes

Overview

Pallet flow racking uses inclined roller lanes to move pallets by gravity from the loading side to the unloading side. Each system is engineered according to pallet type, weight, lane length and required throughput. Lane inclination, roller configuration and speed-control components, where required, are selected to ensure controlled and reliable pallet movement.

This gravity-fed pallet storage system is particularly suitable for high-throughput warehouses, production buffer areas and distribution centres requiring efficient space utilisation and reliable FIFO inventory rotation.

Key Features

  • FIFO storage principle
  • High-density pallet storage
  • Gravity-driven pallet movement
  • Separate loading and unloading sides
  • Configurable lane lengths and capacities
  • Controlled pallet movement
  • Efficient use of warehouse space
  • Engineered around pallet and load requirements

Applications

Ideal for warehouses, production facilities and distribution operations requiring FIFO stock rotation, high pallet throughput and compact storage. Common applications include finished goods, raw materials, production buffers and high-volume pallet handling.

Optional Configurations

Pallet flow systems can be configured with different roller or wheel tracks, lane lengths and pallet capacities according to the application. Depending on the load and operating conditions, optional solutions include speed-control rollers, pallet separators, entry guides, pallet supports and additional safety or handling components.
